Edukasi Pelestarian Tanaman di Hari Cinta Puspa dan Satwa Nasional 2020

Pernah mendengar peringatan Hari Cinta Puspa dan Satwa Nasional (HCPSN)? Yaa …. Seperti sebelumnya, HCPSN tahun ini juga diperingati setiap 5 November. HCPSN 2020 bertema puspa dan satwa sebagai simbol ketahanan pangan dan kesehatan.  Tahun ini, ikonnya kecombrang dan rusa timur. Ikon puspa HCPSN tahun ini adalah kecombrang yakni tanaman yang berpelepah seperti pisang-pisangan berpangkal runcing dan berwarna hijau, dan satwanya adalah rusa timor sebagai pemenuhan sumber pangan protein hewani.
“HCPSN bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mengingatkan kita akan melimpahnya keanekaragamanhayati di Indonesia, melindungi puspa dan satwa berarti kita turut menjaga kekayaan alam Indonesia supaya tetap lestari,” tulis akun Instagram Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan @kementerianlhk, Rabu, 4 November 2020.
Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Cinta Puspa dan Satwa Nasional (HCPSN) Keluarga Besar SD Muhammadiyah 4 Kota Malang  memperingatinya dengan memberikan pembelajaran perkembangbiakan vegetative dan generative kepada peserta didik kelas VI. Mereka diberikan pengetahuan tentang perkembangbiakan tumbuhan secara generative dan vegetative, yang selanjutnya anak-anak diberi tugas untuk mempraktekkannya di rumah masing-masing dan didokumentasikan dalam bentuk video. Meskipun masa Pandemi sekarang ini anak-anak  tetap harus belajar dan ikut melestarikan tumbuhan, terutama tumbuhan langka atau yang hampir punah.

Betapa pentingnya tumbuhan bagi manusia karena tumbuhan merupakan Paru-paru Dunia. Mari kita jaga alam/bumi  dengan melestarikan tumbuhan dan hewan agar generasi selanjutnya dapat menikmatinya juga.
